Safety Tip of the Week:

***Reminder*** - Predictability is the key to being safe on the road.  Make sure to hold your line even when coming to a stop and stay in the lane.  Corner with care and hold your line on the corners so you don't blow the yellow line into oncoming traffic.  

Last week's ride was a success with almost 80 riders out again like the previous week.  Lets keep the level of care up again this week and have a great weekend!

BCC Rides

Cycling in the summer can be about casual riding, sprinting, spinning, big-ring hammerfests or what ever your chosen type of riding is. The BCC was founded for the sole purpose to network cyclists. It has grown into a successful club which accommodates Riders at almost all skill/fitness levels. Everyone should be able to participate and have fun at their respective levels.

 

Weekly Rides:

 

Saturday

Saturday Morning Club Ride
Start times are 7AM & 8AM. Distance is 55-100kms. Choose from different ride routes, pace groups, etc. 

 

Sunday

Sunday Morning Long Club Ride
This is a longer ride day. Ride typically starts at sunrise. Longer rides tend to have a faster pace with shorter rest breaks.

 

Mon/Wed

Thursdays 

CX/MTB Madness

In the Spring, Mondays and Wednesdays are MTB nights in the DON.

In the Fall, Mondays and Thursdays are the nights of hills, grass, mud, stairs & barriers. Bring your CX bike out for a great workout and some skills sessions. Mountain bikes are welcome!

 

Tuesday

Advanced Night Ride
You must have good bike handling skills and know your limitations. Riding Speed is 35-40kph. 

 

Thursday

Hillicious Thursday Nights
Starts at 6:30pm. Usually a few laps up Brimley hill and then the Tour de Scarborough.

Unofficial Non Club Rides
Insurance Coverage only covers Regular Scheduled BCC Rides. Informal Rides are Exempt from the Coverage.

BCC WEST - 2015
Allowing West End Members who want to ride From High Park to Plan/Post Ride Details.

 

Race Team

2015 BCC Race Team
Please join if you will be racing in 2015 as part of the BCC Race Team! Team training rides will involve a sustained pace of 32-34 km/h for at least 90 minutes.
