Event Description

Hey All,

This year's End of Season Ride will take place on a Saturday and the route will be a variation of our most favorite route of all time: Goodwood.  I wanted to have everyone enjoy the camaraderie, as well as enjoy the time on the bike.  What better way than to have have club Lunch after the ride!

Start will be at GRINDER - James is going to provide complementary Coffee and Tea.  8AM Start.

Our rest stop will be Annina's Bakery in Goodwood with the ride ending for Lunch at the Stone Cottage Pub at Kingston & Scarborough Golf Club Rd.(12:30-1:30PM)

Here are the Route Options:

130 Kms - Starts at Grinder @ 8AM - EOS GOODWOOD 9TH-DAVIS-2ND C SB (132) - Break at 81km Marker - Pace 29-32kph - ETA at Lunch 1-1:30pm*

110 Kms - Starts at Grinder @ 8AM - EOS GOODWOOD 2ND NB (110) - Break at 58km Marker - Pace - 28-31kph - ETA at Lunch 12:30-1pm*

90kms - Starts @ Grinder 8-8:30AM EOS Stouffville(90) Break at 47km Marker - Pace - 27-30kph - ETA at Lunch 12-12:30pm*

*Assuming Time taken at Break point is 20-3omins - Not including Mechanicals or flats.

We will run similar groups as our usual BCC Rides.  I am starting both routes at the same time as it will allow for a more moderate pace 110km by default.

I am anticipating riders will be back to the Stone Cottage Pub for around 12:30-1:30PM assuming the breaks at Goodwood/Stouffville are 20-30Mins.

Please R.S.V.P on here as I will need to submit numbers to the Pub so they reserve seats for us.

Thanks!

Dan.

Thanks to Jon Spira for the Routes!

Son's birthday party in early afternoon, so a no go for lunch.  Will try to get out for a bit of the ride if possible, but will be short-turning in order to meet time commitments.

I'm in for the 110 distance

Hi Dan,

Thanks for organizing the EOS ride and for another safe year on the road. I was wondering if perhaps we could consider a shorter ride option for those riders that haven't had the opportunity to ride as often this year. This would help make the EOS more inclusive and perhaps motivate those riders that may be feeling uncertain considering the only two long route options currently offered.

Thanks.
