Event Description

Inspired by this classic race, the Paris to Ancaster has taken place for the past nineteen years over the roughest farm lanes, trails and gravel roads we can find. Haven't done it in 7 or 8 years so I am just looking to survive on my 50th. birthday.  We will most likely have an extra seat on the ride to the event if anyone gets caught out.

Comment by Paul van Dongen on February 20, 2013 at 6:15pm

Well, that's very cool, Jon.

I just went to register, found out Waves 2 and 3 are full. Perhaps I'll reg in Wave 4?

Comment by Jim Weir on February 25, 2013 at 9:13am

I have registered in Wave 1

Patryk Biegalski Comment by Patryk Biegalski on February 25, 2013 at 9:35am

I'm in for wave 1 while Brooke is in wave 3.

Comment by Paul van Dongen on March 4, 2013 at 11:58am

Gonna do Heck of the North instead.

Brian Walsh Comment by Brian Walsh on March 30, 2013 at 2:42pm

VIP spot for sale!

I registered for a "Olympic Experience VIP" spot in a fit of good intentions months ago (with Mr. Riddell - sorry Jon!), but I am simply not ready.

I would be happy to sell my $200 spot for $120. Check details at http://www.parisancaster.com/P2Areg.html. Text or call me at 416-817-4619 if interested.

Comment by Jeff N on April 10, 2013 at 8:14am

I am in wave 1, fingers crossed for a great day!

Patryk Biegalski Comment by Patryk Biegalski on April 10, 2013 at 9:29am

Looks like rain all week which means conditions will be sloppy. I suggest knobbies and low tire pressure. I'll run my cross tubulars with 60-65psi.

Comment by Paul McKeever on April 10, 2013 at 9:33am

Will be muddy, but we may get lucky and have no rain. Thanks for the psi suggestion, I'm always running mine too high. :)

Comment by Jim Weir on April 10, 2013 at 9:50am

Paul, are you in Wave 1?

Patryk, agressive knobbies or knobbies light?
