Hi,
I picked up this medium specialized prevail helmet at the bike show which is unworn outside the house. I bought it to replace my 6 year old Giro Atmos. My criteria was light and well ventilated. The Ionos is heavier that the Atmos and I was looking for something newer that was not heavier than my current one.
The pro-light looks like my first Giro, not like an incremental step forwards, other than weight. I have been brand loyal, but got fed up and bought the prevail which weighs exactly 225 grams on my kitchen scale as advertised.
I don't like the way it looks. Tried it in the house and thought I looked goofy. Get a twitter that Giro has a new helmet in June that weighs the same.
Bought it for 260 tax in from a shop in Bairie because La Bicicletta would not discount it because it was new stock. (299+ tax) They would throw in a tire which I didn't need.
Will sell it for 230 and swallow the tax.
Also in my parts bin have WCS Matrix Carbonalloy 4-Axis O/S Stem 31.8X130
Rode it for half the year until I could get a matching Edge/Enve cockpit. Bought it for 150+ tax, sell it for 80$ or best offer.
Have some Oakley Radar in the Rootbeer (brown transparent) frames with vented brown irridium Pitch lenses and a vented Persimmon Path lens that I will sell for 150$
I also have a Cinelli/3t Neo Carbo handlebars in 42cm size that weigh 225 grams and are quite stiff.
40$ or best offer.
Will send pictures on request.
Here's the oakleys.
Thanks,
Joe
Hello all, I have a number of gently used bike parts that I've pretty much decided I'm not going to use. Have a look, and make me an offer if there's anything you fancy - I'd like to get them out of my basement so no reasonable offer will be refused.
I'm looking for a longer seatpost for an older MTB I'm lending to a friend to do the P2A in April. If anyone has one they are not using, or even willing to lend for a month or so, let me know.
The size is a little non-standard. 26.8mm and needs to be min 330mm in length.
Also have an unused Thomson X4 stem 90mm, zero degree rise for $60 - or swap for the above
Tom
Seatpost sorted. Thomson stem remains available.

Has anyone got a 700c road wheel & cassette they can part with? I want something I can use while on the trainer (so I don't have to keep swapping tires)
Let me know.
Thanks,!
I have a set (front and back) and might be able to find a cassette. They're decent wheels and would make for good winter/training wheels too... let me see if I can find a cassette tonight and I'll give you a price...
Sweet! let me know what you've got
if Dru does not have a cassette, I have a 9 speed you can have
Hey Alex, I have an 11-23 Dura Ace cassette that would work well. Like I said, they'd be great training wheels, a bit over the top maybe for just the trainer... anyway, $150 for the set with the cassette. The wheels are black Velomax/Easton Circuit wheels.
Got it. I'll send you a message and we can work out details.
Cheers
