Weather dependent, we're gonna do our first morning hills ride this week! Cancellation due to inclement weather may occur as late as 5am (ha ha), so check back here before the ride.

We're
meeting at Birchmount Park @ 5:40am
. Roll out will be right away on this ride, so meet us at the hill if you mistakenly hit the snooze button.

Route will be BRIMLEY.

What you require to come on this ride:

- hydration/snacks

- helmet

- kit is optional; you may show up in PJs if need-be

- front and rear lights

- bell (I bet you most of you don't mount a bell on your road bike :P)

Please confirm you are coming so that we know to wait.

I am still unable to do any serious climbing, so I will attempt repeats of the flatter section.

I'm game for anything, at least once... Sunday ride showed me I need more time in the saddle and more hills if I'm going to climb Mt Ventoux this fall!
This is a very soft "yes" considering I am down with the flue ... though, I stiffed James this morning for Beach Hills and the guilt is eating away at me!
Feeling much better but my earlier "soft yes" just became a "hard no" as I landed tix to the Leaf game tonight!

Hoping to get out!

I am hoping to be a regular part of this group on Thursday morning but the forecast for our first ride is not encouraging. I will be there if it is not wet and raining. If I think of the up and down as downhill repeats it is not so painful.

i will meet you at the hill....i have a poor record of getting out before 6am ... only a 20 % chance of showers at 6am.

Can't make it out tomorrow. Hope you guys have a great ride.

Weather will be warmer and nicer than anticipated! We're still a go. See you in a bit.

How was the first ride??

it was nice and quiet. I arrived later, about 620am and the others where just leaving. only one near miss with a deer. not much vehicle traffic
