I just read this entry on Red Kite Prayer and loved it. Thought it was worth putting up here.
Check it out...
So, no pictures to go with this report, sorry. But who (other than maybe Peter Sutton) could hold on to a camera over this terrain anyway!
It was a great day on the bike. Alex S., Jorge C. (DH) and I got up early and piled into the truck fully expecting to arrive early for the start, turns out we made it up to Cedar Beach Resort on the north shore of Musselman's Lake in record time and just hung out getting cold for an hour and a half... About 60 people finally showed up for the…Continue
So I figured I'd show up to Grinder to see if there are other hardcore riders, and sure enough, there were. I think it was six in total. Got to the point where we all mutually decided it was just to cold and really couldn't see in front of us, and headed back. All in all, glad I made it out for the pre-ride :-) Till Sunday...
BTW, Good luck to the riders doing"Hell of the North". I think it's Dru…Continue

Anyone thinking of a ride on Friday morning? I'd like to get in a 2-3 hour spin if possible.

A bunch of us go every year to cheer on our BCC Racers. It's a great way to spend your morning, if not riding. It makes a huge impact on racing moral when there is support at a race.
Here are the details.…Continue

Here is the List and if I forgot anyone, Please let me know:

Alan, Bob, Christian, Peter, Scott and I carried the BCC flag up Warden. Welcome back to Alan, and nice to meet you Bob. After a send off from Evan, Dan and Lana, who chose warm coffee instead of the ride, we headed N up Warden. The road started dry, light snow flurries but not enough to even dampen the road. By the 401 a little dampness on the road, by 14th ave, snowing…Continue
It was just over 6 months ago that I set my sights on Ironman France. Now time is passing rapidly as I look at only 2.5 months left until race day. Training has continued to be solid although it is always difficult to figure out exactly where you are without having any races to benchmark. If New Orleans is any indication, I am behind on running relative to 2009 IM Canada, when I set my PB marathon in Mississauga. Yet from a training perspective, I am feeling stronger on the run than I ever…Continue

Welcome to all the new riders. Our skills group did an awesome job staying together and keeping the pace lines tight and predictable. Hope everyone had a safe ride.
Below are things that I feel are important reminders and need to be adhered to by the group as a whole. Please Read.

1. Riders must ride a tight double paceline or single file when traffic, common sense or the road dictate. (No riding way out…

Hope you all had a good ride today. Warm welcome to all the new riders. Hope you had a great first experience with the BCC.
Received an e-mail from a neighbour:
It's great to see your group out on the roads again enjoying the warm weather. I'd like to ask a favour of your group please - when you are out on roads such as Guildwood Parkway,…
