Bike Stolen from Malvern collegiate

Hello all, I hope someone can help. On Friday of this past week, my son's Giant road bike was stolen while locked up at Malvern collegiate. Unfortunately I don't have pictures but it was silver, had black bar tape, one michelin pro race red rim tire on the front (I had just changed it over and probably the most distinguishing feature). The bike was a medium frame and a tiagra/105 groupo. Malvern has survellience tapes that they are pulling and giving to 55 division. If you see the bike, let me… Continue

Another Hillicious Thursday Evening!

Another fun evening - great to see everyone out!

Although there's some road construction happening at Brimley, the road is still open for traffic and still ride-able as long as you take it easy on the descent.  That's a warning that usually would be best applied to me, but I was taking it a bit easy tonight as I didn't want to destroy my legs…

Hot, Humid, and Hillicious!!!

Wow, what a scorcher - and I don't just mean the weather!

Thanks to everyone who came out.  The maillot à pois rouges goes to Jim Weir who utterly thrashed us on the Meadowcliff climb.    Jim also grabbed the maillot vert with a well-timed jump on the sprint finish!…

0rw91xdeaul41 Going Hairless for Provincials for Charity

So, many of you have teased me over the past year and a half about my hairy legs. I now get a comment almost every ride. I personally don't really see the value equation of hair removal being positive. I see the benifits (looks better, easier road rash removal etc), but I just don't see it being worth the work/pain from my perspective. Add my wonderful and understanding wife being adement that she prefers the hair, and you have the reason why I haven't shaved, until now!…

Finally! Decent weather on a Thursday night

And boy, did it bring out the riders!  A very big group tonight - welcome to all the newcomers; hope you had fun (as much fun as Brimley repeats can be..)

And a busy night with cars as well.  Please remember to keep to the side of the road, when it is safe to do so... riding side by side is not a…

BCC Women's Rapha 100 - a fantastic success!!!

Despite the rain, I think that this was one of my favourite rides ever! I read about the Rapha Women's 100 ride on the Rapha website and thought that this would be the perfect event to get a bunch of BCC ladies out to ride together on our own. Of course, when I woke up and it was raining, I figured it would only be a couple of us (who had made a blood pact to show up rain or shine) slogging it out in the rain, whining the whole way,... boy, was I surprised when 10 women…

Never Let a little Rain Stop you from Riding...Sunday Kleinburg Ride, in the Bank!

No rain when I left, Rain when we started... All in all a nice way to end the Kleinburg boogie, even though it was raining, I couldn't see most of the time, and not a whole lot of sun.  Ended up with a 30kph Average... not bad for a rainy day.  Glad I did it.…
