I decided to take in the free viewing of the road race with my kids today at High Park and am very glad I did. An excellent race (from our limited glimpses) with Canada taking the gold and overall controlling the race. It was no surprise that it was going to be a really hot and humid day, however, many showed up for the ride. Some riders coming from the beach which would add another 60kms to their ride as the remote start was at Elgin and Leslie. Last Nights ride was pretty great. Well attended, despite the call for passing showers which did happen. Corners were a little slower, but still the average speed for the ride was over 32KPH. Thanks everyone for coming out, jamming hard, and dropping all the #wattbombs.
