Gran Fondo to Buffalo, nxt Wed 26th Sep - Fully supported, dinner and transport home


Next week I'm among 12 riders who will embark on an epic 5 day, 800km ride journey from Toronto to New York City on Sept. 26th in support of Camp Ooch.

Donate to kids with cancer - Keld riding TO to NYC supporting Camp Ooch

Dear BCC friends,

As most of you know, my road back from a potentially fatal cycling accident 3 years ago has been a long one. I know all too well how life can change in an instant and how important it is to try and live a ‘normal’ life as you stare down medical challenges.

Holiday bike-drive for bikes to at risk youth in Regent Park

Dear BCC friends,

  If you are missing a good and very worthy idea for doing some serious good 'secret santa' work this season look no further - we're fundraising for donating bikes to youth in Regent Park... and in that process also funding the athletic programs provided to those youth groups in the challenging hours of 3 to 6 each day between school's end and parents arriving home.

La Marmotte GrandFondo in the French Alps, July 5th, 2014 - EPIC!!!!

Awesome, awesome ride in France this past weekend - La Marmotte is truly EPIC!!!!

I finished in 9:13... 34 min past the gold-time - but I made ALL the rookie mistakes one could even start to imagine;

  • I rode a bit too fast on Glandon (hey it's only the last 3 km to the top, I can push a bit harder... BIG MISTAKE ;)

BCC Rides

Cycling in the summer can be about casual riding, sprinting, spinning, big-ring hammerfests or what ever your chosen type of riding is. The BCC was founded for the sole purpose to network cyclists. It has grown into a successful club which accommodates Riders at almost all skill/fitness levels. Everyone should be able to participate and have fun at their respective levels.


Weekend Rides: 


Saturday Morning
Start time is 8:00am early season, 7:00am as days get longer. Route distances vary from 55-120km and several pace groups are available. Saturday morning rides focus on a social vibe.


Sunrise Sundays
Rides will start around sunrise. Rotating routes will focus on distances from 55-160km.  Remote start rides outside the GTA.

Weekly Rides:



Advanced Turbo Tuesdays
For this ride, advanced group riding and bike handling skills are required. You must also be aware of your limitations. Riding speed is 35kph+.


Hillicious Thursdays
Starts at 5:40am. This ride includes Bayview, pottery rd, redway other local hills.



Starts at 5:30AM. Bring your CX or MTB out for a great Don trail ride. Some weeks, we'll head to a local park to practice CX skills.
