I was pleasantly surprised to receive an e-mail from another rider at the race......

So there I was shivering from the cold rain under a tree as I waited for the start of the Provincial Road Race when one of your club members reached into her backpack and handed me her rain coat. At first I felt reluctant to take it out of sheer disbelief but a nano second later accepted her gracious offer. This kind gesture alone is what makes cycling so enjoyable. I don't know of any other sport where this sort of generosity is commonplace and I would like to thank her for making that moment the highlight of the race. The only problem is - and I'm embarrassed to mention this - that I don't recall her name but I do recall her dog's name Olivia........who by the way sought shelter under my bike.
So Dan, if you could pass along my gratitude it would be greatly appreciated.

Ps. I left the coat with Rick at the start/finish line as she had requested. I hope she received it.
Thanks to the person(we're not sure who it is....) that extended in this way.
Cheers and keep it Up!
