Well, we managed to get in a strong ride although we didnt quite hit the century mark as we short-turned off a rather busy goodwood road. Four souls made it for this 154km effort. Paul M, Alex S and QB hit Grinder at 6:30am while Brian B met us at the highland overpass. The four of us made a beeline north of the city to Stouffville and thank goodness not a lot of cars were on the road as dense fog made visibility a challenge. There was enough water in the air to have my sunglasses dripping wet and constantly layered with moisture. It wasnt until we got to musselmans that the day delivered on our expectations of sunshine. From there it was a great day of riding. Solid rollers north and east of the city, great butter tarts at goodwood, and excellent camaraderie along the way.
here are my stats, 154km, average speed of 30.9km/h, max speed of 66.3km/h total climbing of 1,033m, and average power of 217w, max power of 1,044w, avg heart rate of 139, avg cadence of 85.
