Not a racer - doesn't matter. Don't own a TT bike, the newest aero helmet, nor crazy expensive ZIPP disc wheels - doesn't matter. You already a racer - then you've probably already signed up so I'm not likely talking to you (what, you haven't - get on that!).
The organizer of the Individual Time Trial provincials made this event as open as possible. There are all the typical racer categories (Masters age based, or Elite) as well as a non-UCI TT categories (30 or 40km) and an amazing Eddy Merckx category (30km) - where no TT bikes are allowed (so no equipment excuses). Come out and test yourself, or even better - bet a pint (or several) with a few of your riding friends and see who comes out the victor. I'll even pony up here - I (James) will buy a pint for the fastest non-racer BCC male and female in both the Eddy Merckx and non-UCI categories.
Only $40. Quite possibly the lowest race fee I've seen in the province for an open road event.
