The Goodwood group made it back safely too... This is horrendous news though.

Yup, our Simcoe group made it home safe too. Be careful out there!!!

Awful news indeed - this is not something you want to hear after having been out on the bike today. My thoughts are with the family and friends of the cyclist. Hope these incidents remain rare.

The Goodwood group passed the same spot at about 11:00 when we turned from Durham York line into Elgin Mills on our way back , all safe and sound. My condolences to the cyclist family.

I just saw this and realized that we passed through there earlier today. My condolences to the family of the cyclist. This reminds us to keep the pacelines tight and single up when needed.

CTV suggesting that the female driver crossed the centre line and struck the male cyclist coming the opposite direction. A reminder of comments that Dan made a few weeks ago about keeping a tight pace line as close as possible to the right side of the road.

This is sad my condolences to cyclist family. As everyone had said on this forum, DY reminds us keeping it tight on our paceline be predictable on the road. Glad to hear that everyone make it safe from their own group rides.
