Much of ths week's ride was done in the company of, well, no one.
We started off with a pretty low turnout - myself, Alex, and Jeff. Jeff was pretty tired from competing in this weekend's 24 hour race and left for home soon after arriving. As usual, Alex was game for just about anything, and the two of us set out at a pretty decent pace.
Alex comes straight from work, however, and he's a cycling commuter. As one can see from the pictures, he was carrying a messenger bag last night. Unfortunately, the bag shifted while we were running some weaving trail, causing him to crash. Nothing too serious, but he did open up some wounds on his hands and legs, and opted to call it an early night.
I spent the remainder of the evening taking advantage of the virtually empty trails and relatively dry and hardpacked conditions. Still trying to get the GoPro camera thing working property, so no video this week (sorry!).
Hope to see more people out next time!
