Sorry no photos, you'll just have to imagine how great we looked.
We missed you Alexx, Alex, Jamie and Peter! Welcome to Lisa on her first ride with us.
It was a nice evening, perfect temperature and great trail conditions led to fun on the trails on both sides of the DVP. Tim, Trish, Thi, Reg, Melani, me and Lisa started at Taylor Creek and worked our way to Seaton woods on this side of the DVP. Trish and Mel decide to head back early and the rest of us carried on over to the W side of DVP and rode the main trail to Loblaws and around to Pottery R.
No bears, deer, foxes, rabbits this week, I guess they could hear us coming!
By the time we got to Pottery Rd, it was tough to see in the woods, so we scooted back along the bike path, by Taylor Creek it was very dark.
Option for next week: We can extent the ride past dusk for those who have, or can borrow lights. If you are worried, don't be, we can try some of the easy trails at dusk and into dark. Night rides are very fun, we go slower. Seeing the lights of the riders ahead on the trail looks amazing! White front light, and red blinker on the back is a good setup.
See you next week. Jeff
