As you know, Peter Oyler is racing RAAM and he is now into his 27th hour of racing. As you can well imagine, riding 395+ miles is epic, but still small potatoes relative to the goal of 3,000 miles. For the data geeks amongst the BCC (i count myself in this camp) Greg Gannon (peter's coach) is posting his gps and power files to strava. Feel free to follow Peter's journey there - I don't think you will see as many EPIC stress scores as you will see over the next 10 days. For those interested in power, Peter is riding the Stages Cycling power crank. Stay tuned, if this tool works well, there will be an opportunity to get access to this power meter at about half the price of conventional power meters.
In addition to the strava account, Peter's twitter account is carrying lots of tweets from his crew. For those so inclined, please send a shout out to Peter and his crew (our very own James Young is out there trying to bring Peter home safely) by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The crew will be reading out your emails in order to keep the legs turning.
