Ouch, ouch, ouch... everything hurts except my ankles... I can't believe that I hung in until the turn-off at 19th. Thanks for a good ride, everyone, and the good company. Was totally done by the end, but a good challenging start to the Sunday ride season indeed. Thanks to Trish and Paul for the pulls on the way home - Trish, it's not every day that I get to brag about staring at your very-fit-butt for 3 1/2 hours! Thanks!!! And thanks Pat for catching us back onto the backof the pack after the flat... we wouldn't have made it back on without you. (Extra "bike-husband" points for you!)

Great ride, love the pace on the way home. Legs are tired and I think I earned every bite of Easter dinner.

Good route!

Vivian to Ninth past Mussleman's to Stouffville has some interesting and challenging sections.  Having these most difficult parts in the middle of the ride before coffee was very good, we had lots of time to warm up, and some time to recover with coffee, before the sprint home.

The Leslie vs Warden, both are good and bad, so in my mind pretty equal.  I think the choice should be guided by the destination and total km.

First ride with BCC and first group ride in years. Thanks for making me feel welcome. Very tired after the ride...that's a good thing. Looking forward to next Sunday. Dan, did you make it home on the flat?

Yeah, thanks for waiting for me and seeing if I was ok.

When I left you I rode south to 19th and Warden, and had to change out my tire.   Bumped into a few groups club riders; D'ornellas, Silent Sports & Sound Solutions.  They were all really nice and asked if I needed a hand.  I had the help of a Silent Sports Rider(can't remember his name - Thanks if you're reading this).  I needed to muscle the tubular tire on my rim and was having a hard time with leverage.  The tire change was a little more involved than I wanted, but managed to make it work.  Rode back and managed to bring my ride average up over 30kph - it was a nice tail wind.  Did 70kms, and was back just a little after 10am.  Next time I hope to rip with the group.  Kinda bummed about not being able to ride with the crew.  Next week..... Sunny forecast awaits:-)  Glad you felt welcomed.  You've got legs, you definitely should have had a blast!
