The Sunday 140 - a few flats (tires and roads) a few hills; plenty fast!

Thanks to the brave ones who joined for the informal ride.

Lets see - Me, IanM, IanW, SteveJ, PeterC, PeterS, SteveF, BruceD, Chris, JodyNB, PatB,JimW,JasonS for the start to Goodwood leg then joined by AndrewM and John for the return.  A little rough to get out of the city on Warden, but is there really a good way?

Warden North  of Finch, was fantastic, we rode a tight double paceline and kept the speed up.  As promised, right turn on Herald for some great downhills :), and some ugly ups :(   Keep going east to 3rd concession for a few more ups to soften up the legs.

Goodwood was a welcome break, really nice to see other BCCers there.

South on 3rd after break and for a change turn East on Webb.  Guess what, a few more hills.

Over to Brock, which had a few more cars.  We stayed a great tight double line and kept the pace up.

Left on 7th to get off Brock and over to Westney.  Westney South to Whitevale for the descent of the day!  Woo hoo, oh crap we have to go back up.

Whitevale rd is a little rough and the bridge is closed to cars, but open for bikes and pedestrians.

Of course, another up to get to Altona.  Thanks to the skinny fast climbers for regrouping at the top of Altona!  Fast down Altona for a special treat, we turned on Twyn Rivers to climb the wall.

Sheppard to Conlins south and over to old Kingston rd for another treat!

Boring after that, home on Kingston Rd.

Awesome ride, with a great bunch!   Thanks again, Jeff

Thanks for a organizing  a great ride today, Jeff... I'll look forward to the next one and not having to cut back early.  But the first 70 to Goodwood was the ride of the year for me!

Great recap Jeff!  As you said, Warden north of Finch was great, as was Herald.  It was a fantastic group of strong riders that worked well together.  I would describe Twyn Rivers as something other than a "treat ;-).  Thanks for organizing and keeping us in line - literally!
