Nice to see some new faces... I had the count over 50 riders... Hope you all enjoyed yourselves.
On a side note, Here's a friendly remember: Safety is First - #1
1. Check for cars before passing, try to get your position before a downhill or on an uphill. Passing less experienced riders can be unnerving for them.
2. Back of the Pack Riders - If you're at the back always be checking behind you for cars and call it out. This keeps riders in the middle and front aware of the situation, especially on a single lane road.
3. Middle of the Pack Riders - stay within the paceline, remember we have to ride as group, and be predictable. If you feel that you can't manage being in the middle, drop to the back or go to the front and pull.
4. Front Riders - Check for intersection clears and help marshal where you can.
Lastly, the safety of the group depends solely on the least safest rider. Basically everyone is responsible and plays a part in the safety of the group as a whole. We have a great Reputation amongst clubs in Ontario, lets keep it up!
