A small but dedicated group of BCC riders gathered on a miserable night for some hill climbing....
Nasty, nasty headwind tonight - sucked all the snap out of my legs. Or it might have been the early morning workout at WattsUp this morning (36 minutes of Zone 4 work. Ugh.) Either way, it was a bit of an ugly evening and as the weather started to get colder and colder, we called it early and left to fight the headwind on the way home.
Tonight's climber jersey goes to Mark Bailey, who clearly had his Wheaties this morning - great job on the hills, Mark; wish we had you at Niagara Classic Road Race on the weekend. The sprinter jersey has to go to Evan Glazer, who announced he "wasn't going to sprint" and then took off, dropping the entire group on the run along Danforth.
'Til next time!
p.s. Was I the only person not to wear gloves tonight? Took me a while before the feeling came back in my fingers...
